How to clean the grinder?

For the best coffee flavor we recommend cleaning the bean container, the grinder and the ground coffee chute regularly. This is easier when the bean container and the grinder are completely empty, carafe is being removed from the coffee maker and the swivel filter basket is completely empty. Please check instruction manual for detail and pictures.

How to clean the grinder:
Note: Before you start, make sure you have unplugged the coffee maker from the power source, removed glass carafe from the coffee maker and coffee bed from the filter basket. The filter basket is properly closed.

1. Turn the grind level dial to “OPEN”.

2. Turn the bean container anti-clockwise until the “Triangle” indicators are aligned.

3. Remove the bean container from the coffee maker.

4. Lift up the bracket of the grinder ring and pull the grinder ring out of the grinder.

Note: If you are unable to remove the grinder ring, check and make sure the grind level dial is still turned at “OPEN”.

5. Clean the grinder the cleaning brush provided.

6. To completely remove the ground coffee deposits and coffee beans we recommend using a vacuum cleaner.

7. Put the grinder ring back into the grinder and put the bean container in place again.

8. Turn the grind level dial back to a grind position.

How to clean the ground coffee chute?

How to clean the ground coffee chute:
Note: Make sure you have removed glass carafe from the coffee maker and coffee bed from the filter basket.

1. Open the swivel filter basket, the ground coffee chute can be found on top of the swivel filter basket.

2. Hold the coffee maker in both hands and carefully lay it on its back.

3. First clean the area above the swivel filter basket with cleaning brush provided and a damp cloth.

4. To open the ground coffee chute, press and hold the “Ground-coffee” (Grind-off) button for 5 seconds (Note: Make sure the coffee maker is plugged to the power source and the display is on). The ground coffee chute flap (silver color part) will open automatically.

5. Clean the chute with the cleaning brush provided.

6. To close the flap on the ground coffee chute, press and hold the “Ground-coffee” (Grind-off) button for 5 seconds (Note: Make sure the coffee maker is plugged to the power source and the display is on).

7. Push the swivel filter basket back in place and make the coffee maker stand up again.

How do I clean my coffee maker?

(1) Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

(2) The unit must never be cleaned under running water and must never be immersed in water.

(3) The glass carafe, the lid and the filter basket can be washed in the dishwasher.

(4) Rinse thermal carafe with clean water.

(5) Clean the housing of your coffee maker with a damp cloth only.

In addition to the legal warranty claims, to which the end user is entitled relative to the seller, for this device, if it was purchased from a dealer authorized by Wabilogic Inc. due to his consulting competence, we grant a manufacturer’s warranty under the following conditions:

(1) 1 year limited warranty from the date of original purchase.

(2) This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.

(3) Defects that occur due to improper connection, improper handling or repair attempts by non-authorized persons are not covered by the warranty. The same applies for failure to comply with the use of consumables (e.g. cleaning and descaling agents) that do not correspond to the original specifications. Wear parts (e.g. seals and valves) and fragile parts are excluded from the warranty.

(4) This device was designed and built for household use only. It is not suited for other uses.

(5) Warranty does not cover damages that are not the responsibility of the manufacturer. This is valid especially for claims arising from improper use (e.g. operation with insufficient current or improper voltage).
